The Depot is a local cafe located at the north end of Bondi Beach. We started out back in 2007 as a small hole in the wall cafe and have since expanded to the shop next door.

We offer simple everyday food in a laid back setting. The locals know us best for our breakfast (which is the most important meal of the day here in Bondi!). We love experimenting with new ingredients and flavours through our weekend specials. Our Gluten Free Pancakes, Peas Please and Hipster Breakfast are some of our most favourite dishes at the cafe.

Our second home is in Bowral, Southern Highlands, where we produce our own honey, herbs and seasonal fruit and vegetables for our menu. We also have our own community herb garden right outside the cafe, so feel free to swing by. We do plenty of baking on site and our bread is sourced from Sonoma. We offer coffee by Australian coffee roasters, DC Specialty Coffee Roasters.

Our doors have been open for 10 years now. Our owner Heather Turland is an ex commonwealth games gold medalist, and you might see her running around the cafe on the weekends. She mans the ship with her son and chef, Clint. It was within these doors that our ex owner (and brother!) Guy (ex Est and Icebergs) nurtured his youtube channel idea for Bondi Harvest. He is now travelling, surfing and cooking across the world but our approach to food remains the same.
