This morning, my wife flew in from Japan and we were looking for somewhere to eat a nice meal. We visited on Wednesday for brunch. Didn't see the name Sotto advertised anywhere, just known as 67 West St on the door. Friendly staff showed us to a table inside. Cool breezes wafted through the cafe, despite the hot temperature outside. Most of the tables were in use, some for breakfast, some for meetings, a nice busy environment. I ordered the truly divine, Eggs Benedict with Trout on Sourdough Toast with a rich and creamy Hollandaise Sauce and Sauteed Spinach (the Trout was fried with a crispy skin, not smoked) and a delicious, well made, large cup of Soy Latte and my wife ordered a delightful plate of Sauteed Mushrooms, Broccolini and Spinach, covered in Dukkah on Sourdough toast and a pot of French Earl Grey Tea with milk. Female staff proved warm, friendly, helpful service. The atmosphere was busy without being frenetic, the background music not too loud. We had a really enjoyable meal here, and even bought a freshly baked, Banana, Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam Muffin to take home, because it looked so good. ($53.00 is on the high side for brunch and a muffin, but it was really tasty). Highly recommended for Breakfast or Brunch or a special occasion. -  MWandAW
