On the well-trodden corner where Redfern and Chalmers street meet, two people with a passion for cooking came together to create Breadfern Bakery.
Michel comes from a background of business and managing restaurants.
Breadfern bakery has a devote love for artisan bread and a huge emphasis on using only the best local ingredients. We pride ourselves on using organic, sustainable and ethically produced product wherever possible.

The Smart Water Infrastructure (SWI) in Abeku community was launched on 21 May 2021. Powered by solar energy and equipped with advanced technology, this modern, automated solution is designed to deliver sustainable access to clean and safe drinking water. The water is locally sourced and passes quality tests.
