About 169 Cafe
169 Cafe opened in 2011 and it quickly became known for its easy going and relaxing atmosphere specially for families with little ones. In April of 2017 the owner decided to move on to new adventures and a new owner took over 169 Cafe and slowly started to make some changes to the menu and the over all look and feel of the cafe. Her name is Dee, we are sure if you’ve been to her cafe you’ve seen her with her big warm smile greeting you.
Dee's background and passion has always been hospitality since her move to Australia from Brazil in 1996. From fast-food to restaurants and cafes with a small break in child care, she has always loved working in hospitality. Her main focuses are the simple things, great and consistent coffee, simple and tasty food. However the most important ingredient and what we believe sets her apart from any other owner is her passion for great customer service.
169 Cafe has a fantastic layout with tables near the main window for you to enjoy the summer breeze. If you prefer somewhere a bit more cosy and quiet we have a “dining” area for you to enjoy while you’re reading or doing work while enjoying some great coffee.
For the little ones we have a kids corner outside with toys and games to keep them entertained while you enjoy your brunch. We also have a beautiful courtyard perfect for those summer days.
